(Resume) for "Shawarma Grill House" Restaurant.

The Mounzer Brothers "Arfan & Borhan" immigrated from Beirut-Lebanon to Copenhagen-Denmark in the late 1960s. In 1980 they opened the first Lebanese Restarant in the center of Copenhagen, on the popular walking street, called "Shawarma Grill House". It was the first Restaurant of its kind, not only in Denmark, but in all of Scandinavia.

Shawarma Grill House, quickly became a huge succes.
Not only did they make a whole new revolutionary type of food, but it was also healthy and purely made with the higest quality of ingredients, and the most talked about home made chillie sauce based on their own very special recipe. The pitabread is also their own recipe with the special aromatic taste, which also made the pita bread itself very well known and popular, and now is sold all around supermarkets and stores.

The Mounzer brothers presented the Shawarma, falafel, hommus, shish kebab, shish tawook, the kafta burger sandwich, as well as the beloved tabbule, and the kebbe pies.

Soon the media also got news of the popular new restaurant, and the Mounzer brothers were on several occasions invited to appear on television, speaking about the restaurant and the Lebanese food culture. Journalists have written articles over the years, first about the new sensation and exiting food, later about how the danes love the food and on all occasions they have been praised for the high quality they have maintained through the years. The Danish Prime minister went there to eat the same night he got elected, and that made even more amazing headlines for the restaurant.

Even after 25 years it is still one of the most popular restaurants in Denmark, and regular customers have been coming all through the years for the tasty food, exelent service, and the beautiful cosy interiour.
